RBS Accounting Services provides day-to-day accounting services, month-end and year-end close assistance, consulting on compliance issues related to federal awards and assistance prior to and during your annual financial statement audit.
RBS Accounting Services was formed in 2023 by Robert (Rob) Schneider, CPA. Rob is a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina who has over 25 years of experience in the areas of auditing, bookkeeping, and consulting.
Small companies frequently do not have the resources to pay to have a licensed CPA on staff to oversee their accounting. As a result, small companies tend to rely on bookkeepers who are not up to date on the most recent changes to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This means monthly financials provided to the owners or board of directors throughout the year are often inaccurate, compromising the organization's decision-making process on financial matters. Inaccurate or incomplete accounting records lead to an inefficient audit process and higher audit fees. Auditors frequently bring in other CPA firms to help address inaccurate or incomplete accounting issues prior to the audit but that significantly adds to the total cost of the audit. Most CPA firms address that concern by assigning year-end close out and audit preparation to a junior accountant with little experience in order to bill at a lower rate. RBS Accounting Services, LLC is a single member LLC. That means you will be working directly with Rob who has the experience of a CPA partner but you will have the billing rates typically associated with a junior accountant at a larger CPA firm.
